You MAY NOT use internet translators or any other form of outside assistance. You MAY ask me questions, use your dictionary, and/or text book. If I find any indication that your work is not completely your own, it will be considered academic dishonesty. You should begin working on these as soon as possible in case you have any questions for me, I will accept early submissions.

Bonjour! I have assigned 3 exercises on My French Lab due Friday--2-1, 2-2, and 2-3.

Don't forget Friday is our first in-class composition. This is obligatory and CANNOT BE MADE UP! You must be in class on Friday to write this composition. You should bring paper, a pencil, and your French-English dictionary. Remember you should WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW. Use your dictionary as a very last resort (in case you forget a vocabulary word, for example, or the gender of a word).

Our first exam is Monday, don't forget!!

I will hold and out of class study session this Sunday (Feb 12) at 4:30pm. Meet in my office (Kimpel 204B) between 4:20-4:29, then we will all go to an empty classroom to review. We will go over the second study guide which I am posting below.

Here is what I'm posting in order:
1. The answers to the first study guide that we went over in class today.
2. A second study guide which we will review during the study session (but you should have it completed before arriving).
3. The answers to the second study guide (in case you can't make it to the study session on Sunday).

I am taking it as a homework grade! We will review for exam 1 on Friday during class and your first exam will be next Monday, February 13.
